What is the assurance program?

The Assurance program is a water well maintenance plan. Under the program, members receive preferential treatment when water well issues occur. Members receive priority scheduling, free parts/labor, and regular evaluations/maintenance.

What is covered under the program?

The following equipment is covered under the program:

  • Pump

  • Motor

  • Submersible Wire

  • Drop Pipe

  • Check Valves

  • Well Seal.

  • Bull Head Assembly

  • Plumbing

  • Pressure Tank

  • Control Box

  • Pressure Switch.

  • Sand Separator.

  • Splice Kit.

  • Chemical Treatment.

  • Above-ground Storage Tank.

Average cost of repair for common water well issues not covered under the program.

The average cost to replace a .5 HP pump & motor cost is $3,256. The average cost for a chemical treatment is $1,150. The average cost of replacing the pumping equipment in an above-ground storage tank is $3,500. All of this would come out of your pocket at the time of repair.

What happens when an Assurance Member has a well issue?

When this occurs Assurance members go to the top of the service list. A Barco tech will be sent out to evaluate and repair the system ASAP. As a member, the parts and labor cost of the repairs will be free of charge. This takes the stress out of unexpected water well issues.
